last years results were good enough for us to make the top 8 this year , in 2008 the tigers were 46pts and 97.38 perecntage , this year 42 pts was enough for essendon .When i see things like this i just get more angrier at this wasted year

I understand what you are saying houdini. However, I think the complete shocker of a season is actually a good thing because it has revealed the deep seated problems at our club.
So, although I am also angry at the terrible on field performances, I am taking some solace from the off field developments. e.g A very thorough selection process resulting in what has been widely agreed a solid choice for a senior coach.

What cheeses me off is the list management decisions that were made on the back of last years second half performances. If we had this years outcome last year, then the a few of our older and underperforming players would have been moved on earlier and our rebuilding could have started a bit earlier.
