Theres an article in the Hearld Sun, stating that Krakouer is playing so well in the WAFl, theres a very good chance he will be back in the AFL next season, most likely with gold coast..

could this be another headline against us next year? :vomit

no, not a chance, good luck to him though

Yes how much egg will we have on our faces for delisting a bloke after he nearly killed someone in a viloent assault and was about to go to jail for it. ::)

Though we still could've used an MCG specialist today. :theyareontome

Doubt it would happen. How old is he now? 27,28?
Even if he did make a come back there wouldn't be any backlash.
The guy went to jail for bashing someone. Can't blame us for delisting him over that.

His form in the WAFL has been very good. So has Tom Roach's who is also being touted as a mature age return to the AFL, and to a lesser extent Travis Casserly.

But guys who really shine at WAFL level and get the spotlight never seem to get picked up. The ones you are looking for are the Ashton Hams, Simon White and Hayden Ballantyne types, who have been overlooked and have matured.

But poor old JON. Saw him play on the weekend, still looks as clueless as ever.

Good point. Not everyone is physically and/or psychologically ready at 17, 18, or 19 years of age.

I'm in the minority, but I loved Krakouer.;

He may not have possessed the quickness that small forwards use to chase down opponents today, but he was the best in the business at getting front and centre and sharking goals. Was always one of my favourites. I'd hate to see him pull the boots on for another club, really would :(

Good luck to the guy if he can get back on an AFL list, could be a good option for the Gold Coast if theyre struggling for some experienced players, he could add some class for a year or two in a struggling side. I always liked Krak, sure he made a massive and stupid mistake but he served his time and deserves his second chance, great to see him making a fist of it in the WAFL. :clap

If he does get picked up by anyone you think the most liklely option would definately be the Gold Coast, after all they will need more than just 18-19yo kids.

Am I correct in saying that GWS play in the VFL next season? If so this could be an outside chance as well, though it wouldn't realistically leave many seasons for him to play at AFL level, seeing as they don't enter the comp until 2012.

The kid could play, he just suffered by playing with the tigers. Lets be honest, just because someone fails at tigerland it doesnt always make them a hack who cant play.

I say good luck to him.

Yep West Coast had solved all his problems that shitty Richmond didn`t have a clue about, and he was going to complete the remarkable transformation from Richmond reject to midfield Weapon for West Coast by mid year.

Well so Jay Clark from the Herald Sun said.

I was a big Kracka fan, his goals would always light up the stadium. I'm sure Chocco Williams will be having a good look at him to reunite him with Rodan, they had a good connection on-field, plus his cousin is playing at Port as well.

Hope he gets picked up, has had a tough run.

Just found this interview with SEN, with Andrew and Daniel Harford i think.
