He has just passed away.
A legend of the game
And a bloke that AFL community will always remember
RiP.
His Grand Son Josh plays his 250th tonight
RIP
Only found out the relationship with JKS recently but apparently being traded to the Swans was not popular with a lot of Hawthorn folks at the time... given his subsequent career you can see why.
"Don't think. Don't hope. DO!"
RIP great man. More influential than anyone in Hawthorn's rise from easy beats to world beaters.
It’s sobering as someone in their mid 50’s seeing the passing of the some of the game’s greats in recent years (Kennedy, Hafey, Jeans etc.). But then I’m equally uplifted by the knowledge and memories of having lived and witnessing said greatness during my life to date.
"Don't think. Don't hope. DO!"
RIP great man. More influential than anyone in Hawthorn's rise from easy beats to world beaters.
