I am saving all of the articles and photos to make a PRE tribute page for Jack when I get some spare time..

If anybody has any memories to share, articles or photos please feel free to e-mail them to me for inclusion.

Anything posted on the board soon gets lost in traffic so I think it would be great to have a special page we can all look back on whenever we feel like it.

Jack's passing away is so sad, but the legend of Captain Blood will warm the hearts of Tiger lovers forever.

A favour to ask

Would anyone be kind enough to scan the pictures of Jack in todays HeraldSun and send to me to include on the Captain Blood tribute page I'm making?

There are plenty of pics there, but my scanner has carked it.

Would appreciate it very much if someone can help me out. If not I'll save them and copy them myself when my scanner is a goer.

e-mail [email protected]

Thanks. :)

P.S. It doesn't need to be done today, or even this week. I won't get the page done for a while, I'm just collecting things for it. Ta.

Rosy, i have a team photo of the 1945 R.F.C. Adelaide's visit which features Jack sitting prominently in the front row. A little worse for wear in condition but not too bad if you like i can email it to you.

Rosy,
I cant wait to see the tribute page. Going by the standard of PRE, the quality of the page will be awesome, fitting the legend that Jack was!!

Rosy,

I am working on something hughe to email to you.

My friends grandfather played with Jack Dyer and has some absoulute priceless pieces of memorabilia.

I will see what I can do for you.

TigerNutt, I'd really appreciate it if you could e-mail the pic to me. Thanks. Being a little worse for wear just gives us character. Believe me I know, ha. ;D

Nwonash, thanks for the pics you e-mailed and look forward to receiving some of your friends memorobilia if you are able to send it.

Cracker, wrong thread I think, ha. I look forward to the end of the season and changes happening too though, have had more than enough of this season.

FTC. Thanks for the kind words. I'm not planning anything special, just making a page where the various pics of Jack can be together in one place.

Thanks Roar34 for sending me the pictures.

Thanks KL.

Everyone is so kind and helpful. What a nice Tiger family we are.....even if the team can't win games, ha. :)

Rosy a tribute page sounds wonderful, i dont think i have anything to contribute, but if i see anything you might find of intrest ill send it through.

its so sad the the Saddest day in RFC's history was on my birthday. :'(
My friends couldnt understand why i was so upset - they didnt understand the wonderful things this man has done for the club and the game - Jack Dyer is a true legend :) and will be sadly missed by a lot of ppl :'(

TigerNutt, Thanks heaps for sending that pic. I wrote you an e-mail thanking you for it but got a notification back that it couldn't be delivered.

I'm not sure when I'll get time to add the things I've been sent. Might be over summer the rate I'm travelling at the moment, ha. The main thing is I have them collected here until I have more time.

It's sad Jack died on your b/day g0tigers, but at least you'll have a special day to remember him each year.
Hope you had a nice day anyway. :)
