Crouch x 2 plus Sloane plus Ellis-Yolman showed how desperate we are for a decent inside mid/ clearance machine.

Prestia and Dusty are better 2nd possession users out of a clearance. We need someone to get it to them.

Cotch can do it. We need another.

Ross is injured, RCD seems a longer shot.

Noise has been made about B Crouch, Cunnington.

We need to make this happen

Ellis Yolman looked like the incredible hulk all night compared to our midgets, no one could tackle him.

We used to have a guy that couldn’t get tackled, by the name of Dustin Martin

with our salary cap about to explode, we would be lucky to get Adam Ramanakas.
it was always going to hurt us having Prestia, Rance, Martin, Jack and Lynch all on more then 800k

My point is Dusty is best used as not an extractor. He is better as 2jd possession from stoppage, breaking tackles in that position

Agree, and his disposal and vision is usually excellent. He can win the contested ball too, no mistake, but he's better value as first receiver.

The crouch brothers had a hundred possessions,

but I hardly noticed them.

they are a pair of Anthony Miles I reckon.

A centre square of dusty, cotchy, sheds and dion

and we win that game comfortably.

The number one target in the off season needs to be big bodied inside mid support and a decent back up ruck. If you always conceded the contested ball and clearances eventually the dam wall breaks. Especially with the 6-6-6 rules stopping the extra backman at centre bounces. It just hasn't been addressed. We can't just pin everything on Ross and RCD.

Cotchin, Edwards, Lambert injured - AA quality midfielders

I love our mix with every inside/outside midfielder being multidimensional. Running smart and quick for 120 minutes and reacting quickly and with intensity is the most important skill set in the game... a lot of traditional inside mids are limited outside their specific role.

I noticed them as we were smashed out of the center for the last three quarters.

Lambert’s injury is truly hitting home. There is a reason he finished top 3 BnF in two of our best seasons ever. He symbolises everything our game style revolves around.

This this and more of this^^^

Lambert out of our midfield was the tipping point.

I’m sure our Recruiters will look to Trade/Draft Big Bodied Mids, you can never have too many.

It’s not all doom and gloom, however, there’s Lambo,Ross & Cotchin to come back,& Snarling Marlin & RCD to debut.

It would also be nice to land a Hugh Greenwood (190cms) or that ball magnet from Norf who always carves us up.

We’ll have a first, second & Gold Coasts 3rd,so with Bobble likely to exercise Free Agency & a few tradeable players if we so choose, should be able to land a Ruckman,KPBack & at least a brace of Inside Mids.

Snarlin Marlion(Pickett).

Forgot,we’ll have Luke English who might make it next year,so it’s a time to be optimistic.
