I am glad we were slaughtered last night

This way our new coach has no doubt of the size of the job ahead of him :(

If he did, he sure as hell doesn't now. Hardwick is going to have to be really TOUGH AS NAILS and the people he will bring him likewise. Should prove interesting when he does get his staff together and then commences work on this rabble of a playing group.

I am not glad but at the same time I can take comfort knowing that there is no illussions as to how bad some players are.

He will make the tough alls and best of all flog them pre season which no doubt they would not have had before.

Now they really are gone find out the meaning of HURT !

We looked worse, It goes to show how bad we looked if you dont play as a team, to many guys worried about there own futures last night trying to play there own good game. At least we sowed up our number pick :)

The Club was slaughtered last night and I am tipping that Hardwick will slaughter the playing group over the pre-season in a bid to try and find some mental toughness and spine within the group.

He has sat in the coachs box with the Hawks coaching against us.Im sure he know what he has taken on. Sure does make you wonder why he would want to take on the task of coaching us. But thank god he has. All starts from now....

hardwick has some job ahead him , richmond are an absolute rabble of a team.

He has sat in the coachs box with the Hawks coaching against us and that is the reason why he will keep richo ,because the hawks only needed to worry about one player (RICHO )when they played against us

I am unhappy that got a touch up last night.

Hardwick would have been aware of the enormity of the task before last night; second last place on the ladder would see to that. The players did themselves no favours with that performance, some may have tipped the scales out of their favour: Simmonds, Polak, Thompson to name a few.

Simmonds I'll grant you but I would have thought Thomson and perhaps enhanced their rep if anything.

I would think Polly & Thommo would have 12 team mates who would be on shakier ground than them

Hardwick is the type of person though that has never walked away from a challenge. The bigger the challenge the more motivated he is to beat it.

We are probably in for some more pain before we the on field gains come but hopefully we have found the right man to take us forward.
