Hi Guys

Anyone else having trouble with the HUN website?

When I go to log on, it seems to load up properley, but then it freezes. After a period of time (usually 4-5 minutes) I get a message saying that the page is running a script and if it continues it will affect the performance of my computer. I am asked whether I want to continue running the script. At that point, if I say no to continuing to run the script, the computer seems to return to normal and I can view that page.

But as soon as I go to another page on that website, bang, same problem.

Any ideas?

I am on a PC

Has been a problem for about a week now.

Tried clearing the cookies but no luck. I am sure it is something to do with their website, because it happens to me with other Herald Sun websites as well. PerthNow for example.

I guess I am wondering if there is an option to prevent scripts being run when you go to a website. Or whther I have some sort of out of date driver or something.
 
Try ctrl-f5 to force a reload of the site.

Do you have an ad blocker ? If not, get one. It could be a random ad your profile has triggered that has problems.

Nothing seems to have worked so far.

I have actually emailed the HUN to see if they can tell me if something has changed about their site.
 
The thread had been nudged!!
What I find is when the HS are doing their big updates which is from 11pm till 3-4am I experience massive lag and freezing.. any other time there isn't many problems accessing the site.
