Darren Gaspar is the Homecoming Hero this week.

One of my favourites of the "Team Hair" era.

Welcome back Gas!

:hearton

My mate will be very happy.
As I have posted previously.
He loved The Meter Reader.

Who is coming to read your meter?

The Gas Man! :hihi

Looks like you have my fave player as your avatar........Dunc the Spunk?

Probably explains your username... Duh.

Apparently Garthy has been given permission to leave the rooms early and see if he can learn something from Gaspar's style when he takes his shot for goal

Loved watching Gaspar and Andy Kellaway down back

loved them both but in that era wasn't until Leon Cameron came over that we began to clap defensive kicks that regularly hit a target. Im not kidding, I recall games in the early 2000's where the crowd would applaud a kick that hit a target out of defense!

Used to regularly keep good players like Wayne Carey and Chris grant quiet

I can’t remember if Andrew K been ever a homecoming hero - or Duncan for that matter. Anyone know?
Both would be worthy.
Each week AK used to take at least one brilliant gutsy saving mark where he’d risk everything and be flying back into the pack. Inspiring stuff.

Neither Kellaway has had the honour, as yet.
