I don’t wanna sound like the cliched commentator but it’s a huge season defining game tomorrow against the Saints.

Win and we are in the 8, lose and it’s season over in a meaningful sense.

It is a season defining game tomorrow as is next week versus the Suns.

Must win both non negotiable.

What is no surprise is that Collingwood get to play the Suns at the MCG but we don't.

I don’t think we’ve played the Suns at the G since 2015.

Probably right I can't remember us playing them at the MCG, but the Skunks get to and Geelong seem to get a game against them at Pussy Park every year ................................

Just waiting for Jnr Brightside to decide what he wears under his Stacky gurnsey , grab a heart starter , heart stopper combo and on our way out of this lovely 3 degrees

Regardless of the result. We aren’t good enough this year.
Any team with talls will dominate against us.
Injuries to Ross, Lambert and Jack are huge loses.
Not confident today. Stkikda will play there GF today.

I feel that we are flying under the radar. We are getting the band back together far sooner than I expected and they will be rusty. If we can get some system and confidence back then we could play a huge role in the finals. If we get another couple of key injuries then put the cue in the rack and experiment a bit.

If we don’t win it’s a golden opportunity flushed.
But two years ago at Kilda smashed us here and we ended up winning the flag.

I remember these exact same feelings posted before the Bulldogs game. No game is easy in the AFL. If a team is off their game by 5% then their opponents on the day will beat them.

We may miss time passes today due a third of the team coming back from longish term injuries. If that rustiness puts us 5% off our game the young Saints side is in with a show.

Forget percentage let's get the 4 premiership points first. Then maybe build on our % when those points are in the bag.

Think it was the G. Vickery kicked a bag, too.

Dimma would counter that we are system-based, not personnel-based. And the young kids don't always play to the system.

I'm convinced that's why Baker was dropped. He cost us a goal at a crucial stage against Adelaide when KMac left his man to help out our backs, and Baker held back on his own at the D50 line but it came to KMac's man loose 30 metres out and he goaled.

After that, and maybe other instances, Baker was toast at the selection table.
