I actually phoned and got on line to the morons - didn't expect a decent answer from T.Shaw and didn't get one, but I think I got my point across..........

Yeah i saw all fo that and agree he didnt look ahppy though why would you when your team is *smile* and has won one game out of their last 13.

Which question did you ask Newman and what was their response to yours?

I congratulated Brad on his fine comeback in the second half of the year, saying that was one of the few positives to take out of this season.

I went on to ask the dud Shaw if he understands Frawleys' logic in dropping Jay *smile* and Marty McGrath in the past 2 weeks to bring in Kayne Pettifer (2weeks ago) and Matty Rogers last week - point being now that our season is well and truly over, why drop 2 young kids who need the experience for 2 proven players who are past their tenure...............

He agreed, but then went on with his own anecdote at the Pies, at which time I 'switched off'..............

Ottens just sat their with a blank stare - I hope we don't make the mistake of trading him to another club.

I'm sure Marty and Jay would have benefitted from a run in the seniors, but don't forget:

a) They weren't exactly getting near it when dropped.

b) The most important thing, especially for those two blokes, is to make absolutely sure that they get through an entire pre-season. It would have set them back far more if they had picked up some kind of structural injury in the seniors in Round 21 or 22 and thereby curtailing what is probably their most crucial pre-season yet. Can't stress enough that for these young and finer bodied kids, a full, uninterrupted preseason is far more crucial than a couple of games at the top level. I'm not unhappy that they're in the twos ATM. Remains to be seen whether they crack it for a game on Sunday, but I wouldn't be critical of leaving them at Coburg for this game.

word has it that Ottens isnt too happy at Richmond at the moment.

Its going to take alot on convincing to keep him

I heard your question Newman. I don't think Brad is too comfortable in front of the camera. Every time I've seen him on White Line Fever he always looks apprehensive and unsure of himself, especially when sitting next to Tony Shaw who is very sure (shaw) of himself.

I heard your question too Newman. Fair equestion too, cant realyl expect Ottens to answer that one but Shaw does *smile* and crap on.

As for Ottens runours of leaving, who knows there are rumours saying he wants to stay too. Who knows.
