Naish was brilliant. Loved Richo's hairstyle. Knighters oozed class as always.

Very enjoyable Richo33 :thumbsup

Yeah Richo33 I watched it too.  A fascinating game!

What about the commentry - McAveney was/is the best commentator going around.  McKenna was the worst!  :p

And how about that long haired wild man playing for Adelaide - Wayne Weideman?  ???

Funny looking back at Riccuito too...a real Bogan hair cut.   ;D

Looked more like a "Weedman" or a "Wierdman"

Caught the second half. Absolutely brilliant. The only 3 survivors are Richo, Roo, and Ben Hart.

Tiger midfield was sensational. Knights, Free, Maxfield, Chris Bond, & Brodders.

Gee Richo was a stick-figure ;D Must have been about 19 ?

Fantastic game ,geezz we were a tough unit back then how the bloody hell did we only play finals the next year

Brereton shattering Freeza's jaw with a martial arts move when he was leading the comp in kicks had something to do with it.

Off-field rubbish as usual CC.

That was Northey's 2nd year and looking at the improvement from the year before (1993), it looks exactly the same as this year to last year with Wallace.

The difference is that we have better skilled players now compared to then............Bower and Neeld....please. :hihi

Ah! Mark "Noodle" Neeld. He kicked the sealer in that game. He was a lovely bloke but quite possible the the "protoype" of wrong the player we have picked from other clubs over a 20 year period. I'm not going to do a definitive list but: Biddiscombe, Thornborrow, Eishold, Elliot, Dundas, Hewitt, blah, blah , blah....

Watched some of it again this morning.

Nigel Smart with hair...... very weird.  Stewie Maxfield....... what a bummer when he went to the Swans.

When young Richo took a mark near the 50m mark the commentator said "Michael Roach has been spending a lot of time with him fine-tuning his goalkicking action." Richo went back about 25m and did the slow, deliberate Disco-style walk/run and banged it straight through. Watching Richo in recent years when he loses the left rudder in his run-up makes me cringe. Whenever he starts doing it again Wallace should drag him and put him onto Dial-a-Disco from the sideline.
