I said before the season started that the first 6 Rounds were crucial. We didn't need to win all games, but needed to be better than the 2-4 we were last year.

Epic failure on that front.

Gold Coast and West Coast at home the next 2 weeks. Lose 1 and kiss finals goodbye. Win both and the draw opens up leading into the bye.

I'm not giving up on finals yey, but we are hanging by a thread.

Well at least now the AholeFL have had their laughs with biased fixturing and as we stand 1-4-1 after 6 rounds, we get some easier teams.

The next 8 games to our bye has Pussies, Port and Aints as hard teams to beat...but I'd still rate the Pussies hard to beat.

I never said this week was a certainty, but on paper it’s an easier opponent than the first 6. We do have a funny history against that team. Playing at Marvel worries me. They have already played there twice this year.

Touk Miller being out is a shame for them but probably the first bit of substantial injury luck we've had on an opposition team.

Essendon got melbourne without gawn and lever ... 1 week later they were back for us and Gawn especially was pretty good.
