dud bowden

Who cares. i don't reckon it will be enough to get him back into the side. He should be getting 30+ possessions down there - not 20! Zantuck played both back & forward, had 19 possessions & kicked 6.1 - that'll do me

does anyone know how dud bowden went in the ressies?

Bowden did nothing special in the 2s last week. He didn’t really put his body into it and was more prepared to hang around packs waiting for a handball.
His 20 possessions were ordinary. I don’t think he did enough to be even considered being picked. Looks like another week in the 2s for our friend Bowden.

too bad Coburg seniors and reserves have a bye this week.

Aren't the under 16's playing? Good time to get his form back.

Just asking the coaches geniuses...

maybe the players you bag like Bowdo are asked to a job...like get around the pack for a handball recieve, run the ball and kick it long.

Or do you think all 18 players should be stacks on the ball?

He's been dropped: that ought to be enough for you without bagging him while he's with Coburg.

Spot on Tf...I've mentioned before that the players going back aren't always there to be best on ground. I've heard the coaches in the huddle at Coburg reminding players of the role they are there for.

It might only be to improve one aspect of their game so they do it properly in the seniors when they come back.

A team needs a variety of different players yet certain people here seem to think everyone on the team should play exactly the same kind of game.

All you people saying how bad Bowden was for our 2nds last week how many of you went to the game?

I did. Bowden was crap. I feel sorry for the guy with the direction his football carrer is taking him. But at the same time only he can turn his carrer around. At the moment he is in cruise/lazy control.

When are we going to stop debating this about this guy?

Like we are making him look like he is an integral part of our team, he was once for about 12 games, but for the last 3 years he has lost the plot.

Just give him the boot so we can all finish with this inane arguing about an insignificant player who thinks he is significant.

Let's just hope that whatever is asked of him at Coburg, he rediscovers his passion to compete at this level and takes whatever steps he needs to, to be an asset to the senior side. No denying his ability, only his desire. Hope he realises this could be crunch time for him. Can't get selected on ability only forever.

You have a choice not to read the thread, dmx.

Just as I have chosen not to read the "Sack Frawley" thread.
