I really don’t understand why the AFL is so keen to move the Dreamtime Game away from the MCG. Both Richmond and Essendon have a bye in round 13 so why the need to move the game. If it’s the fact the a marquee game would be played in front of no crowd then they should be moving every game planned to take place in Melb interstate. Can’t get my head around the logic? Thoughts??

I have a feeling it’s because the wa government has a 2 week quarantine period and something to do with our eagles game after our bye. Just guessing though

And Essendon will already be in Perth and Dreamtime is their home game.

Logistically it makes sense. Essendon will already be there, and we’re playing there the week after.

Wonder how many old time VFL fans there still are in the West? Back when the Eagles came in a lot of the blokes in our Perth office had a big interest in a VFL team.
