Well done on 2020, Thats it, 2020 is over now.
Operation 4 out 5....

We need another option forward and maybe a tall defender.

*Delisting.
Cathwaite Turner Miller Naish, English

*Trade, Higgins Caddy Eggy chol
* must Keep Broad.
Decide what Cj could get you in a trade and give Stack one more chance. Any drinking out the door.

I would like to see if we could get a Parker or Greene to come over.
Ask the question to Liam Ryan.
And Doodeee from Adelaide.

Agreed on what we need but for that reason would keep Garthwaite just in case.

*Delist
Miller, Turner, Naish, Stack

*Trade
Higgins, Markov

I think English has only just reached his physical maturity so give him another year
Keep Eggy instead of Markov to replace Houli
Get Two Metre Peter (and half his salary) in exchange for Markov (who the Suns seem to want).
Brodie is also available from the Suns but must leave space for Tom Green after next year

Naish won't be delisted (he's contracted) neither will Stack. Delistings will come from below.

My guess is squad size will be 40 next year, so we currently have 43, probably take 2 in the draft (Rioli and 1 more) so we need to find 5 list spots.

Out of contract are:
Egg, English, Garthwaite, Houli, Markov, Miller, Pickett, Turner, Aarts and Broad.

Judging by Hardwicks comments yesterday Aarts will be given a new contract. Broad should also get one.

My guess
1 - 1 of Egg or Markov
2 - 1 of Garthwaite / Miller
3 - English - strength of numbers pushes him out
4-5 - So that leaves 2 out of Houli (think he will go again), Pickett (possible trade), Turner and Broad (we need to keep him) or a left field trade / sacking / retirement

Not an easy decision this year at all.

Zips your list management style is a great way to destroy our culture.

We are in the premiership window so wholesale changes to our list will shut that window real fast.

Miller is 195 cm so why throw out a KPD when you say we need another one.

Trade Rioli.
He has done very little since the 2017 Granny after he broke his foot.
Also trade Chol.
His build means he is going to get pushed around when up forward and in the ruck.
To win finals clubs need strong physical sides .
Choli is not in that mould.
I think unfortunately Higgins May get the chop too.

9 list changes, I don't think so.

-Talk of Jack Higgins ( even though still contracted ) to explore his options.
-Caddy
-Broad ( GC) have cooled ( unsigned )
-Markov ( GC) into him
-Aarts ( thought he signed an extension )
-Few on the peripheral who will target these types.

Hate losing heart & soul players.

If we are to believe the AFL scribes then Broad will be gone. My guess the club will have other ideas about that. Regarding delisting or trading, the club has some hard decisions to make

Can we just delist our current players and then re-rookie them?

Just who we need to to get the required amount that can be on a list

I'd be staggered if they cant work out list sizes by trade period. That's some dreadful management by either the AFL or the AFLPA.

Chol remains mainly due to a needs problem.
Soldo out for year and Coleman Jones will miss the first 4 games of next year. If Nank goes down in pre season or early season then noone else to ruck except Balta who they will try and settle at Full Back.
