Craig McCrae on SEN Now

Only caught the interview from Tippett to Aker.

Asked about Tippet by interviewer.
McCrae said:
He was great in a contested marking situation, but lacked the skill to get the ball on a lead.
Should go somewhere in the first 2 rounds, maybe to the Tiges.
15 Qld boys up for the draft this year, about 8 should make it.

Rest was crap about Aker, then turned off.

I missed it all but the host said something about McRae talking about Kingsley. Anyone catch the whole interview?

Interesting about Tippett.

I honestly liked what I saw in both contested and leading from what I saw at the Carnival. I also saw 2 Southport games. He played well in one and was amongst the Best in that game. Was quiet in the second game.

I just think a player with so much upside in regards top development has to be value, especially when hes played and played well against men already.

IMO Future Superstar is Tippett.

Would love to hear the whole thing.

Sick of Acker tak,why was he asked about Acker?

Well they played together, didn't they?

Apparently they also used to do a radio show together.

McCrae seemed not all that interested in the Aker questions as well

He was a lot more excited about the enthusiasm that Browny showed at training

What did he say about Browny?

Is he mega fit?

Can anyone comment.

well it's good to see them talk about footy instead of horse racing
Agree, this is the worsat time of the year with SEN with all the racing talk.Sick of it.

Serious SEN talking Horse Racing instead of football when everyone else is and there is nothing happening in AFL. That really surprises me, maybe 3AW is doingh the same, you sure your not on sport 927 as no other sports radio station recognises Horse Racing during the spring carnival.

Seriously its the spring carnival any footy news at the moment is made up or irrelevent.

Apologies for digging up a seriously old thread..... Couldn't find one specific to Fly

Listened to him earlier on SEN..... I actually think he loves his time with us nearly as much as playing in those flags @ Brisbane! Ridiculous as that may sound.

Having trouble cutting his interview so head to the 1hr32min mark...

Funny bit in there about others trying to copy our culture. ... wonder who he means?:nono

Do ya self a favour!.....

Yeah, the reference to others copying was interesting.

he was at collingwood too.
the only problem with imitations is that usually aren't made from the same quality.
they seem to get holes and seem to come apart.
i'm pretty sure when collingwood cops a slapping that's exactly what will happen at the Lexus/Holden/Westpac centre
