or do you expect to wake up saturday with a nice hangover, wondering what all the fuss was all about?

I’m ready.
Stopped shaving and flossing weeks ago, the letter box is bursting, am insulting all who pass by my window, the nature strip weeds are 2 feet high and in flower, and am clocking up as many parking fines as possible.

Life has never been sweeter.
 
does anyone know what time "the end" will happen? if it starts at midnight 21st Dec, Mayan time, it'll be 5.00pm here. But it might not happen until Saturday after lunch local time - might wake up with a hangover and it hasn't even started yet!
But I might get an extra couple of hours to live as I'll be in NZ :)

thats a very good point. if the last day of the mayan calendar is on 21/12, then the end of the world might happen at the end of 21/12 at 11:59pm local time, meaning 4:59pm saturday melbournne time.

got my work xmas party on fiday - gonna go out with a bang. might tell my boss what I really think of him.
 
Im not fussed what time it happens, I've been invited to a party on the 22nd that I really don't want to go to and have been thinking of a way to get out of it, this could be the perfect excuse.

So smart they couldn't predict their own extinction yet they are supposed to be on the money with our extinction? :hihi

what a conundrum.

I want the date to hurry up, as I will be so close to going on some much needed leave, after a busy time, yet when it gets here, I won't be around to enjoy the said leave.

suppose I could hope work drags on for another few days.

Have heard their descendants don't like being questioned about it don't think to highly of anyone who thinks the world will end.
