Thank you very much, there were some big dollars to be had else where. As a long suffering RFC supporter and seeing todays events with Tom Scully, its just reiterates to me that things have changed down at punt road and there is a genuine team camaraderie, the future is bright for our club especially knowing that players could've walked for bags of cash.

The Tiger Juggernaut will be back very soon and I can't wait to see a yellow and black colleseum at the G. Money is great, and I actually wouldn't blame any player for walking but I think there are other rewards on offer for players who stick with the yellow and black.

I understand that we will most likely lose a player between now and the end pf 2012 to GWS,but all we need is Lids to sign and our hit won't be as bad.

:clap :clap :gotigers :clap :clap

I thought Batchelor would have been on an automatic 2 year contract being a first year draftee?

I wonder if the same people blaming him for contracts they don't like will give Craig Cameron any credit for signing Chimp, Bull and Jack for less than half what they'd get at GWS, while taking them outside the GWS window. All three were signed, sealed and secured last year, ensuring we didn't have to endure the speculation other fans have. Good work CC.

Not worried about the pad, good personal decision to wait until next season.

I was surprised that the other draftees re-signed but he didn't.
We all know by now what 'waiting until the end of the year before making my decision' means..

Yeah maybe. The recruiters have done a good job of picking good characters lately so I'm not going to worry about him jumping ship after 2 years just yet.

I think Vickery also comes out of contract end of 2012....lot of time to get them to sign on the dotted line.

Vickers will resign, no doubt.

I will admit I'm beginning to sweat a bit on Lids, I know he doesn't come out of contract til 2012, but there was an article early in the year about us trying to sign lids up, in that time Rance King, Nahas and Conca have all resigned.. So that begs the question, what is holding Deledio's up?

I do understand that it is very early to even be worrying about this, but lids is going to want success at some point, I won't begrudge him if he was to leave, he could have left years ago when we were a complete basket case.

As a critic of CC's contract management he has done well securing those guys away. No question.

Its the choosing of the extra Players to also lock away that has been the problem.

Yes, rarely has pleasant outcomes.
