Great player, skilled and very consistent.

If we can get Mon Conti and Ellie McKenzie going in the middle together we would shoot up the ladder.

Clearly the best player we have, and in the top few in the AFLW.

As Bruce would say “she’s very speshall”. Was always destined to play for the Tigers and wear the 4 jumper.

Don’t know her full pedigree but there has to be Border Collie blood in there somewhere. Just amazing to watch her play!
 
Well done Mon for another AA and also finishing 2nd in the AFLW Award. Robbed.

Should've got votes against Cartoon in R8.

Didn’t make All Australian and 11 in coaches awards. I’m sure now the WAFL umps have absolutely no idea.

Not quite as bad as Geoff Raines in 1980 but Conti was so consistent through all the games. Oh well, these awards are always a bit of a lottery.

Congratulations on coming 2nd.
But Conti was a standout by a country mile this season.
If umpires continue to vote on these awards, these results will occur.

It’s a lottery because we’re reliant on the flogs to give the votes. They clearly look at the game differently to everyone else. Has to be a better system.

Conti wins AFLW players MVP! Well deserved
And Jasmine Garner from North Melb wins Coaches Award

Both would have been favourites for league B&F, but got beaten by a player who didn’t make AA. Jasmine not even in top 10.

Eilish Sheerin best first year player.
