I dont often to get to see the news but I dont know why I am still surprised but how bad is the quality of the news. Tonight ch 9 had the following stories:

a new website that discounts goods
Michael Clarkes father and grandfather at the cricket to watch him
Santa flying out oof a plane
sun block to come in spf 50
and video from the US of a light plane making an emergeny landing

Seriously its exactly the same as ACA.

Seriously though, I cannot remember the last time I watched commercial TV news. I watch either the ABC or SBS if I watch news at all, but I typically just listen to the radio these days.

Commercial TV News does resemble an episode of Entertainment TV.

Personally, the best news channel is SBS.
And my favourite news services are El Jazeera and DW.
These provide really important information about the world.

Happened to watch the worst exhibition of journalism of all time on TV last night.

Never watch the channel 10 news, like nearly everyone, but did happened to see the face of my schoolboy friend, Mark Regev, being interviewed, so stopped to watch.

Who is that blond idiot that anchors the channel 10 late news?

Here he was interviewing one of the leading media spokesmen in the world, and every time Mark spoke, this idiot kept interrupting.
And this idiot even apologised for interrupting, then interrupted again.
I could see Mark was amazed at the idiots ineptitude.
The funniest was when Mark addressed a relevant question to this idiot, the idiot suddenly cut the interview and said there was a sound fault.
Clearly the idiot was merely reciting a list of questions, not understanding their meaning nor the expected responses.

Personally, I will send a message to Mark sending my sympathies at him being exposed to such an idiot.
Mark was a Melbourne boy.
I'll just tell him the idiot is one of Eddie's mates from 'Broadie'.

Hamish Macdonald, what a wanker!

No wonder he acted like an idiot towards Mark.

this style of interviewing is the norm. The interview askes the question and then doesnt even listen to the answer but is too busy looking at what question is coming next.
