This is part of your cunning plan to send Balta forward again isn’t it ? See ! I knew it. You cagey bastud.
So, I didn't keep a tally, but Tyler Young held him without a touch from about half way through the third. Balta had a mare this week. Was playing off him by a long way, then trying to make up ground way too late.
The previous time we met, our midfield wasn't cut through like hot butter and Balta at a minimum drew even.
Yes, we have our keys. Let's not take a week aberration as if it's the norm.
If Tylar Young can beat Max King you're goddamn right we should send Balta forward!

Balta is one strange unit. Looks impenetrable at times yet can leak 5 goals in a hurry.
Have been against moving him, thought he could become the best kay back in the comp but maybe having his loose cannon crazyness is better suited up the ground as you suggest.
Perhaps he should be spook'ed?

When you rock up to a must-win road game with seven players, you have to concede it's not your year. In 15 games I reckon we had 16 or more players three or four times. Yet we had 31 girls play at least one game. Had our last game on Saturday. Loved the year, though. Love the girls. We'll be back next year. Boys won the minor premiership and are odds-on for the flag.
Spitta was in Melbourne for Cunnington's last game on the weekend so I coached the blokes to an 80-point win, knocking everyone's most-loathed club Coffs Harbour out of the finals. We play Port Macquarie for a spot in the granny this Saturday.
I see a Samson-Balta ruck-forward combo as the best in the comp in a couple of years. 75/25-type arrangement.
Mini blamed our defence. Thought a lot of the problem however, and where we were in most trouble, was trying to get a clearance out of the midfield.
Nank and Soldo did well against the weaker Hawthorn rucks but against the dogs and the saints they fell well short.
On Friday Nank battled well as usual but Marshall won that duel by some margin.
Back to Soldo. He will probably stay in until the end, but think he might wind up out west. Ryan and Miller will get more work next year and expect B grade rookie Colina to stay also.
Ben M hardly makes it onto the park and is constantly injured. Not sure why anyone would pay that amount for a guy that spends that much time in the medical room.
He's a great interceptor but he can be very hit and miss when it comes to the pure shutting down of his opponent.
