Very important game to retain top 4, losing will also most likely see us miss out on a home elimination at PRO forcing us to play Geelong down at GMHBA Stadium.

*Edit: Above is wrong we will play Collingwood if we lose.

With Geelong playing Sydney who are winless with a percentage of only 37% they should easily make up the 10% points with a their win our loss combo, (c'mon girls don't let that happen).

Spot on C. Geelong are up by 15 goals
Melbourne needed 1 more goal to take 1st place off Brisbane.
Really good season.
The top 8 won't take shape till the Richmond Nth game has been completed.
Overall really good season by the girls.

Wouldn’t we come 6th Geelong 5th and north 4th with a two or three goal loss?

Yes just had another look and you are right a North win would have us playing Collingwood at probably one of three venues?
Marvel Stadium, Ikon Park, Swinburne Centre

Yep, sure is a big game, win and we're in the top 4, lose and we're not.

Simple as that.

North are good, but we're good enough to beat them, should be a fairly evenly matched game.

DS

So 4th v Bris, or 6th v Pies.

Pies are in terrible form - think we beat them if we play them.

Hosking a big out today. Kelly back in looks good on paper but Seymour has been killing it as a lone hand so we may lose a bit of run.

Brancatisano is back for Hosking.
Kelly is back for Woods so they are both pretty much like for like, I don't think we lose much run. Kelly will just switch to 1st ruck and Gabby will move back to protect the defense when she's not in the ruck.

I think North have some key tall forwards? so Gabby and even Kelly dropping back may well be on the cards.

Dropping back while in the ruck, or playing as a permanent backwomen? It is a fine line between addressing the opposition but throwing out a strcture that has lead to 7 wins in a row. Will be interesting to see what they do.

I haven't been to the North Melbourne ground for quite a while. Looks a bit different, did it once have a dog-racing track around it or am I thinking of another suburban ground?
