The Cats had won a flag as recently as 1963 but the Tigers hadn't appeared in a Grand Final for 23 years. A brilliantly played, although controversial game, best remembered for Fred Swift's goal-saving mark in the final seconds.
Just my luck that the automatic TV program TV Eye did not engage for the 1967 flag and I missed the last 5 minutes of the 1969 Grand Final, despite putting 10 minutes overtime on the recorder. Ahhhhh!!!!!

Did anyone get a copy they could upload?
