Here are a few photos I took yesterday in case anyone is interested to see them. Sorry the quality isn't too crash hot, back to the drawing board when I get time.

Yesterday I was prouder than I've ever been in my life to be a Tigers supporter.
I got in the morning and decided I just had to be at Jack's funeral. I'm so glad I made the effort to drive down.
I won't say much about the actual service, others have done that already.
Suffice to say the day was one of a couple of tears and a few laughs. The service was very uplifting. A real celebration of the life of Jack Dyer. I don't think the telly coverage of the service really did justice to the wonderful eulogies by KB and Bobby. The whole congregation was laughing, and I for one felt so proud to be part of the club that great man was part of too.
I was lucky enough to sit in the church on the aisle so I could see everything. There was a who's who of football dignitaries up the front, but they were far out numbered by a sea of fans dressed in yellow and black.
At one stage of the service they asked everyone to show a token of friendship to all those around them. People shook hands, hugged and kissed.
It made me think of the people on this site. Strangers with different personalities and viewpoints, but with one thing in common. The love of the Richmond Football Club.
It was great to be part of the spontaneous and heartfelt applause as the hearse drove Jack away. Amazing to feel so happy and proud, yet so sad at the same time.
Some highlights of the day for me were walking back to Punt Road with Bowser, Flea and Bondy. Bondy was my favourite player until we traded him. I told him to come home. I don't like seeing him in Dogs colours, ha.
Had a bit of a talk to a couple of other favourite Tigers, Tommy Hafey and Leon Daphne.
Anyway enough of that.
Inside the Jack’s funeral program there is one final word.
In bold print it simply says
"TIGERLAND"
Made me think it’s some spiritual place where part of all of us belongs.
It’s so important we continue the work Jack Dyer did to make sure Richmond didn’t go into extinction way back then.
Whether buying membership, talking about the team, going to games, buying raffle tickets, not allowing the club to get too comfortable in mediocrity etc. However we do it, it’s not about judging what others do, but about doing everything we can ourselves to help make the Mighty Tigers a force to be reckoned with again.
