My tip tonight is Cripps. Will poll 3 or 2 votes in just about every Carlton win. Will also get votes in their close losses towards the back end of the year.

3 best mids for 2020 IMO, Oliver, Miller, Bont (I saw a lot of Suns games but not many Freo)

But because of the vagaries of the brownlow, winning side more votes, players taking votes off each other, high profile players polling better etc.

Never cared who the umps think is the best player. For mine most important players are key forwards and backs. When was the last time one of them won it? Templeton?

I predict Cripps will get rolled in the last vote of the night , Pickett will receive the most votes however will be ineligible to win , leaving a 7 way tie of Geelong players….just a hunch
