I just read an article on afl.??? And it showed the all aus count across the different clubs.
We have 8.
It made me wonder about our top ten.
the 8 all aus in no particular order are:
Riewoldt
Rance
dusty
Cotchin
Edwards
Grimes
Houli
Lynch.
that group of 8 includes
14 premierships
16 all Australians
2 brownlows
3 Coleman medals
2 norm smith medals
8 richmond best & fairests.
it made me think who our top ten would be.
Surely we’d have to include two guys who had won two flags right? But who?
So I’ve rolled Prestia into 9th because two flags and a B&F in a premiership year is pretty rarified air.
and that leaves #10 on our current best list wide open. There are 8 candidates.
they are the remaining dual-premiership players who don’t have all-aus or a B&F
2 premierships
