I'd say the Aints will be a team to watch this season. Dan the Man should be interesting to watch.

Hill was a class above the rest. He is some player.
Butler impressed. Will help the Saints.
Marshall & King will cause headaches in years to come. Membrey the beneficiary.

StK & Hawks backlines are where they'll fall over. Both on the fring of the 8 this year.

A graders at Saints - Marshall/Gresham/Hill. Battle looks like a real talent, great mover and great composure. King very raw. Carlisle important if he gets back to his best. A few other young guys look good for them.

Butler was just like at the tigers, very suspect over the ball and some meek efforts. Not sure he plays in their best side.

Think Saints have more upside than Hawks, agree they are bottom half eight competitors given a good run with injuries. They have a pretty good draw with 13 games at Marvel.

Bulter was unbelievable.
He got 3-4 holding the balls.
Shouldve had 2 more the umpires didn't pay.
Membrey without the bloke that went to Footscray looked more dominate on his own.
Stkilda new crop.
Hill, was good and opened up the game with his run.
Ryder, no good
Howard, dud apart from a couple of pack spoils looked lost.
Stkildas Achilles heal is there midfield and defende.
Steele and Dunstan got it a 100 times but turned it over 80 times.
The backline wasn't clean and very unorganised.
Gresham is a player 300 times better then Billings.

Hawthorn no good.
No pace in the middle.
For a bloke they reckon he is a star Isaac Smith misses more sitters then castagna.
Omeara and Scully list and money cloggers.
Patton was ok, but if the ball hits the ground, he is worse then Cox from Collingwood.
The bloke they picked up from Melbourne, wouldn't get a game at Werribee. He was shocking.
The only players of any quality they have is Bresut and Scilly.
Overall a very ordinary game with 2 sides that will fight out for a spot in the bottom part of the 8. At best...

Yep, and with Ratten as coach, I reckon they'll make the 8 this season.

Think they just said Naughton out tonight after having an arthroscope? Big blow if true.

Strange that North and the Bulldogs play at Marvel. Would have thought they are two teams that should be trying to grow their supporter bases by taking the game to the people.

Both should merge.
I changed the channel.
Bomtemptellly is wasting his time playing at Footscray.
He should just do what all Footscray captains do and get up and leave.

Being so good
Makes watching other teams play impossible.
North is a tragic football club.
