5 - Ross - moves out of 27 leaving it vacant for Mo Jnr next year.

40 - Nyuon - Gets to hang next to the Chol.

5 for CuJo. Neville Crowe and Brad Ottens rucked for the Tigers in 5. CuJo is going to be the next big thing.

Naish gets 6 and iVan II gets iVan I's 20.

Graham gets first dibs on 7. His prelim final showed he's at least as tough as Mick Malthouse.

No need to upgrade rookie jumpers yet. And Marlion has made 50 his own.

6 Naish. Obvious.

7 Syd A Knee. Michael Mitchell. Electrifying.

16 Cujo. Cujo to break the big bloke curse. Morrison, McGuane, Hampster.

20 Ivvann 2.0. Obvious.

21 Ross. Tough like Shane Tuck, Towner.

24 Dow. Coughlan.

30 Baker. Small and tough like Tony Free.

36 Martyn. Dusty Martin first guernsey.

37 Cumberland. No reason.

38 Ralphsmith. No reason.

40 Nyuon. Next to Simon Phoenix.

Keeping 33, 34, 35 as is.

Good stuff zips.
I "conveniently" forgot some of the names.
I was trying to build a case for each number by picking a past player that matched the present player.
So some names didn't apply. eg no. 7 Sydney and Malthouse etc.

Used to love Harro. No. 20. Good mate of Richo's. Handy player too.
Remember the game at Princes Park Rd 22 (1997) when we knocked The Scum out of Finals contention under Jeff Gieschen.
Harro kicked 2 Goals and we won by 2 points.
People on the way back to the tram were saying "Unleash The Giesch!" as he was only cartaker after Walls got the boot.
Good and Bad memories.
