For the oldies amongst us -
The year 1974 Richmond v North Melbourne Grand Final. The Kangaroos had not won a premiership and were in their first Grand Final in over 20 years. They were the sentimental favourites.

The more the crowd cheered for the Roos the harder the Tigers played. Tigers went onto win the flag.

Forward to 2019 - Giants have not won a flag - in fact it is their 1st Grand Final and in many areas they will be sentimental favourites.

Time again for the Tigers to play harder and ruin the fantasy.

Who says history doesn't repeat itself?

Any other omens you can think of?

Gold Coast - ???

2017 I went to the Dogs v Tigers game at Docklands with my second son, a dogs fan. They were premiers and we were struggling. They beat us when Short threw the ball out of bounds. I said it was ok because they needed a win and it was no use us winning.
This year went again to Docklands and again the Dogs beat us. For different reasons they needed the win and we did not.
2019 flag I hope will follow as history repeats.

My daughter was born 2017.

I have a son born 8 weeks ago.

If we win again I'm starting a go fund me so Tigers supporters can pay for my wife and I to have a kid every year.

Man, General, you'll need a few Go Fund me initiatives to keep that brood going well.

Interesting.
Too young to go to either in 1980 but have tickets to both the GF and KISS this year.

GWS has won the cat fight to be our date for the big dance, beating off the peroxide blond in fish net stockings with the dash hanging off it's bottom lip.

The omen for GWS is Richmond's recent history as a date for the big dance.

Our last date from Adelaide thought themselves a class above the team from the working class town. She was aloof proud and prissy, but is that an excuse for the brutal way she was treated by her date?

Send home violated. To this day Tex can be seen walking the streets of Adelaide, torn dress, shattered look.

2 years on they still haven't recovered from the reaming they got.

No wonder we have so many players named 'Jack' in our side.

That's the omen for GWS.
