is that to help the stand alone teams make money? or win games?

if it is to make money it is probably a good thing.

AFL reserves only get 8 home games , 6 @ PRO & 2 @ Beaconsfield

VFL stand alones get 10 home games

VFL / AFL alignments get 9 home homes

AFL Reserves get 8 home games

Cardinia is a growth shire so the club thinks if it gets the kids when they're young then they have them for life.

Same reason Melbourne went to Cranbourne (Casey).
Not dumb at all.

Exactly, I will be there this Sat to see us against Sandringham and also later in the year against Nth Melbourne.
 
2019 Fixture

2019 VFL fixture is out Today Talk that we could have 2 Curtain Raisers games played at The G vs Box Hill and Northern Blues Both Sunday Games
