Not sure how you split Adelaide, Melb and RFC and cannot see how North are at $26.

Some of the odds they do long range are absolutely crazy. You could offer 50,001 for GWS and they'd still be lucky to win a single game.

Silly putting a bet on now anyway as you've put your money up for almost 12 months. Doubt too much would change between now and March odds-wise.

We cant be any shorter then 50 to 1, because we never make the 8.
The real odds on Richmond should be 1000-1 to the flag.
This club has been the stkilda of the 70's-80's.
Make the 8 and watch the odds tumble.
Currently we a very average football side. How sides lost to GC & Port??

Good . The football world doesn't rate us at the moment and that's just fine with me .

I just have a feeling that we are going to surprise a few next year , including some of our supporters .

We may as well be $5000 odds to be next years premiers. Wouldn't change anything as we won't go close.

Trade week and the draft could change a fair few. Bit hard to pick a premiership team without knowing final lists lol.

Essendon don't have a midfield and they are at $21?

Freo don't have a forward line and they are at $17.

If those odds reflect the same on offer to make the 8, I'd say we'd be at very tempting money.

Not saying we are going to make it, but we'd be well over. Another preseason into Cotchin and Martin, with a few key defenders back like Grimes and maybe Moore (I hope), further development from Conca and Batchelor, and the big Griff getting his body and mind right, and we could make some serious improvement next season. Especially when you consider teams in decline this year are not likely to get a lot of help in this years draft.

The Eagles have shown what you can do with persistence and some decent drafting.

If we don't have a fixture from hell, I will gleefully snap up anything north of $4 for the 8. However, I'd expect we'll be framed at about $3.

Richmond $67. That will be our best bet for the year...

Do not understand why we are even that short..

$67 should be our finals odds.

It amazes me some of the negativity around here. Would love to know what the Eagles odds were to finish top 4 this year. Me thinks they would have been pretty long odds.

St Kilda @ $21? kidding themselves. :rofl

draga we are always positive but lets be honest, THE FLAG??

Lets just stick to winning more games than we lose 1st..

The premier of 2012 will come from the 5 shortest teams listed. Anyone below them may as well be $500.

There may be a bolter a la WC this year (hopefully us), but they wouldn't actually win the GF.

I could have $290 on Geelong, $250 on the pies, $130 on the Hawks, $100 on the scum and $90 on WCE. That's $860 to get back roughly $1000 if any of them get up.

With my luck Freo will be the bolter.

I noticed that too. Something not right with those odds.

Bookies dont give that sort of a break.

IMO, West Coast and Carlton should both be shorter than that. I'd have them both around $8 and the pies out to around $6.50

Worth the risk? Given you could turn that $860 into $920 just by putting it in the bank for 12 months :headscratch ;)
