Oh so you are providing evidence for why first round draft picks arent needed by ignoring the good players we took that actually won us the 3 flags you cite. I get it now.

Again, like a broken record. Historically, you have only marginally more chance of finding a 200+ game player with a late first rounder than you do with an early third rounder. The picks are essentially the same in value. It only appears we do worse with first rounders because we’ve less of them in the last decade relative to second and third round picks.

Also CCJ not a first round pick.

Pick scmick! It seems to me that there is some talent in our well.

And with our injuries some will step up especially if the likes of Martin ,Grimes,JR will act as generals to spur them on.

Umm. Pretty sure one of those Ellis's helped us win two of the three flags. Old mate Bobble should not be mentioned among the others.
