2023 Draft Thread.

Harley Reid looks to be a once a generation talent, can see some tanking this year.

Reckon Harley Reid would play round 1 2023 for 18 sides.

Mitch Edwards has impressed me, won’t surprise me if he’s one of the first selected.
 
According to Tiger71 on the BF podcast last night:

* We're having a crack at two forwards next offseason. It times with Riewoldt retiring at the end of next year. We'll trade players out to get the currency.

* One of the forwards is Ben King. We've been showing interest over the past 8-10 months. If King hasn't re-signed with the Suns by the middle of next year then we're in with a show.

* They also mentioned as the other option - Jacob Koschitzke or Jake Riccardi. Hoping they may be a cheap option.

So what draft pick will the Gold Coast suns give Richmond to take Ben King off their hands ?

Starting to be a bit iffy about the King brothers , They seem to be constantly injured
Max King just went down with a serious shoulder injury and expected to miss 4 months and needs reconstruction

Amazing to see quite a few of the potential Vic Country side training together already ,normally they might do a session or two in Feb-March.
Not much in the 1990-199cm group at the moment.

If he passed the medical and was happy to take a paycut,

We'd consider accepting pick 2-5 i reckon?

Oh wait, The AFL shut the salary dump pick and player trade straight after Geelong accepted pick 7

Lolol Yeah l don't know how they come to these conclusions ,maybe they look at the distance from Melbourne.
It also allows more opportunity for player's to be in the champs .
