Where do you see D'Aloia going? If we trade the first, 19 MUST be another mid.
Clear cut.
You obviously have a lot of faith in Sampson and Bauer. If we trade the first, 19 MUST be another mid.

After 30 before 50.Where do you see D'Aloia going?
I was looking at forwards who might go second/third round ,and might be hidden talent so to speak. You obviously have a lot of faith in Sampson and Bauer.
Because that’s our developing forward line right there
Born later in the year is also a positive.I was looking at forwards who might go second/third round ,and might be hidden talent so to speak.
I came across Phoenix Foster from SA ,this boy has some talent ,and is a really good over head mark ,and his kicking is good ,has a bit of power in it,and his ground game seems good to.
I watched a bit of footage on him ,he looks quite talented,he is used to pinch hit in the ruck, but you can tell he's a natural forward,he has been invited to the combine so clubs are watching him.
Phoenix Foster
Forward/ruck, SA
Age: 12/9/2004
Weight: 85kg
Height: 196cm
Club: Norwood/Wudinna United
2022 SANFL U18s 93 ranking points, 12.6 disposals, 1.9 contested marks, 21 goals (total) 2022 National Champs 61 ranking points, 7.7 disposals, 2 contested marks, 10 hitouts
The mobile big man has booted 21 goals in nine SANFL under-18 matches this season, hitting the scoreboard every time he’s stepped out for the Redlegs. While still raw, Foster moves well and is terrific at ground level for a player of his size. But it’s his hands in the air that have really caught the eye this year, with the 17-year-old taking three contested marks in each of the first two national carnival matches. He’s hard to deal with one-out, but Foster is at his best when attacking the ball in the air.
Perfect height for a kp.Born later in the year is also a positive.
Be interesting to see if he’s got anymore physical growth left in him as a little extra height would be handy
Just on the cusp to be considered a viable ruck height but an extra 2-3cm would be huge in the scheme of things. I reckon pick 19 is around the mark, particularly in a midfielders draft. Ryder was drafted at 194cm so this isn't beyond the realms of possibility.Born later in the year is also a positive.

Elite tank, good skills, definitely in the frame at 19. Inside game not quite as refined as some of the others but he's not a panic merchant, seems to evade tackles reasonably well. I think his kicking smarts look a bit more assured than Szybkowski but doesn't quite have the same clearance ability, this will be an interesting trade off when finalising the order.Thoughts on Hollands? Two way mid. Should there for our pick 19.
If you had a choice between Hollands and Szybkowski who would you choose?Elite tank, good skills, definitely in the frame at 19. I probably take Hollands, his floor is much safer but still has significant upside as a midfielder. Pretty similar to the Hobbs vs McDonald debate we had last year, it's the kicking which may see Szybkowski slide a little but that's not to suggest he's a serial butcher, he's your classic hot & cold player who can look a million dollars one day but then a little wayward the next.If you had a choice between Hollands and Szybkowski who would you choose?
I reckon he's around our pick 12,l would be surprised to see him at 19Thoughts on Hollands? Two way mid. Should there for our pick 19.
Hollands l reckon he has more upside,he is about 73kg so with a bigger body his output should be even better, and he is better on the outside than the Alphabet .If you had a choice between Hollands and Szybkowski who would you choose?
It won't have the same depth as last year, that's just my gut feeling, well rounded mids like Sonsie don't usually slide that far, it tends to be the grunt inside players that drop to the mid second round. I would be stoked if we get to hold onto pick 12, that opens things up for a player like Hewett who fits our requirements to a tee. Keeler also seems to be a good bet, I think the risk/reward is decent, particularly if he grows to 200cm. Just went over the notes from previous years, Ryder grew 3cm, Maric also grew 3cm, being underage Keeler stands a good chance to do the same.Bullus how do you see the later rounds still good value there in the draft ? any players falling down the radar like Sonsie etc.
