Tom Green

Think you will find Sydney got a number of good players from the Riverina Kelly, Carroll, Quade, Barry the Daniher's at some stage and probably a few more. The academies and priority picks except father/ son did not exist until relatively recent times so arguably they missed out on the longmuires Carey. Crawford etc
Geez. There'd be a few of those that were originally Souf Smelbourne not Sydaknee n there was more Danihers at Essendrugs than Sydaknee. Sydaknee had both Horse and Wankery but gave them up to #lolnorf for a song n Crawf was from around Denni n boarded at Kilmore so possibly was missed by Sydaknee.
Not just talking about those players from way back who relocated when Souf got pushed up their for survival. But how much work did Sydaknee actually put into the development n expansion of their influence into both the Riverina / ACT. Areas that actually had a decent AFL history n following in the twenty years or so before GeeWhizz were manufactured?

Would love to know what RFC thinks about green and if they are going to whisper in his ears,we have become really good at leaking nothing, green at gws is a disgrace, farging woefull and wrong.

Surely there's a rule about only being allowed one T. Green(e) per club

Careful there Baloo. We don't want to start that.
The knuckleheads will try and bring in the "One Jack" rule, then we're stuffed.

Huge chance for early debut according to Cameron. Same with Ash.

Utter professionals. Giants list stacked with class mids under 22.

Thats good so they'll still be providing quality players for the Victorian clubs over the next few years.

Beauty might get some expedited development into the lad.

He'll be ripping by the time he gets to Punt Road in time to be a mainstay of our side after many of our guns have retired.

RFC will have the draft picks and cash to get him.

Contracts don’t mean so much nowadays - more a way of ensuring clubs are compensated than an actual commitment to staying with a club. Can’t blame young Tom as he’s probably gone from the basic draftee wage to something in the mid-range for AFL players. Doesn’t mean he won’t get sick of playing in front of 5,000 people after a couple of years and hear the call of the jungle...

In two years time he’s gettable. Giants trade for good coin or risk being strong armed in a Restricted Free Agent scenario two years later.

Or Tom decides to stay with GWS
